Policy & Advocacy

Welcome to OAPA's Policy & Advocacy Page Activities
The Chapter monitors legislative and policy activities within the state and nationally through the Legislative and Policy Affairs Committee (LPAC). During the Oregon legislative session, OAPA will periodically provide updates on pending legislation to its members. Additionally, throughout the year updates may include state policy activities, such as rulemaking, and pending federal legislative action. Learn more about OAPA's advocacy efforts, at the statehouse and at the federal level, on this site.
LPAC's implementation of the legislative and policy action program is informed by the Chapter's Legislative and Policy Priorities.
