Legislative & Policy Affairs Committee

Meeting & Contact Information

Chair: Vacant

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 12:00-1:00 pm via Zoom.

The Legislative and Policy Affairs Committee (LPAC) is responsible for developing and implementing the Chapter’s legislative and policy action program. The LPAC Chair is appointed by the Board. Board oversight and involvement are ensured through Board member participation on LPAC, annual review and adoption of legislative priorities and guiding principles used to inform the Chapter’s position on proposed legislation and policy, and Board President review of proposed testimony. The Executive Board may also be asked to define the Chapter position in a situation where LPAC is unable to come to consensus.
