The City of Coquille is requesting statements of qualification for a consultant to provide community development services.

The selected firm or individual shall submit qualifications to provide contract land use planning services as necessary and agreed upon between the parties. These services shall include but are not limited to processing land use applications on the City’s behalf pursuant to the City’s municipal codes, state, and federal land use regulations (drafting and disseminating public notices, drafting findings of fact and other reports, maintaining records of land use decisions, responding to public inquiries, and representing the City in public meetings), grant writing, grant management, and special projects as assigned.

The consultant will be available in person, by phone and email, on a schedule agreed upon, to respond to inquiries and tasks sent to the City’s Planning Department. The consultant will also be the City’s representative and presenter with the Planning Commission and will write reports and provide presentations to the City Council. In addition to a statement of qualifications, submitter is requested to provide a standard rate sheet along with standard proof of liability insurance.
