The City of Bandon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Development Director to lead its Community Development Department. Under the direction of the City Manager, the Community Development Director is responsible for overseeing the City's current and long-range planning, economic development, code compliance, and gorse management programs. This position includes direct supervision of staff and requires a hands-on management approach due to the department's small size.

The ideal candidate is a self-directed professional with a strong track record in managing complex projects, budgets, and personnel. The Community Development Director plays a critical role in implementing the City's Comprehensive Plan, managing zoning regulations, and ensuring compliance with state and local land use policies.
