**RECRUITING TO FILL ONE (1) POSITION CONSISTING OF EITHER AN ASSISTANT PLANNER OR A PLANNER TRAINEE**

ABOUT THE JOB
Work involves conducting research, analysis and presentation of data of limited complexity. Work assignments may be in rural, regional, natural resource planning or human resource planning. Work deals primarily with the application of the zoning and subdivision ordinances, the preparation and interpretation of comprehensive planning documents, and preparation of reports and graphics. Participate and contribute to the Department’s long range planning projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree with course work in Planning, Geosciences, Geography, Environmental Science, Public Administration, Economics, Political Science, or other closely related courses; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
