OAPA Newsletter
All members of the Oregon Chapter of the American Planning Association are automatically signed up to receive the bi-monthly Chapter Newsletter (distributed by email). If you are a Chapter member in good standing and are not currently receiving the email Newsletter, please contact oapa@oregonapa.org.
The OAPA Newsletter provides members with the latest news, announcements, event listings, and job listings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The Chapter President and Board will also provide regular updates about Chapter activities and opportunities to volunteer on committees.
In the past, members have regularly been provided with opportunities to vote on the adoption of changes to the way the Chapter operates, including through updates to Chapter Bylaws and the Strategic Plan.
Other Chapter Communication
Members and non-members may also receive email communication highlighting upcoming Chapter events and registration deadlines, or special opportunities such as the Book Group or application information for FAICP membership. In addition, new planners may receive communication from the Emerging Planners Group (EPG) about events and opportunities specifically targeted toward undergraduate and post-graduate students and new planners.
